It is desirable to have a clear understanding of the terms of our engagement for 2024 and subsequent years, as preparers of your personal tax return(s) and the returns of your immediate family (if applicable). It is understood and agreed that you have provided us with accurate and complete information necessary to compile such tax return(s). We will prepare your personal tax return(s) using the information provided by you. We will not audit, review or otherwise attempt to verify the accuracy or completeness of any information provided. The responsibility remains with you. Your personal tax return(s) will be stamped with the following communication: Prepared without audit from information supplied by the taxpayer. This communication will appear with the name Thompson Goossens Accountants LLP as your personal tax return preparers. We will assist you in providing additional information or explanations related to our preparation of your personal tax return(s) should any taxation authorities subsequently request it. We wish to emphasize that this engagement cannot be relied on to prevent or detect errors or other irregularities in the information provided to us. Our professional fees will be based upon time required for each engagement at our standard rates and are due upon reception of the invoice.

All answers provided and agreement of the terms applies to your whole family (spouse/common-law partner and any dependents whose return is prepared together with yours).

I consent to the collection, use, disclosure and retention of my personal information for the purpose of preparing my income tax return by Thompson Goossens Accountants LLP (TGA). I recognize that TGA will keep my personal information secure from inappropriate disclosure or use and will not supply any of my personal information to other third parties without my consent, unless required to do so by law.

I agree with your understanding of the terms of your engagement as preparers of my personal tax return(s) as set out in this letter.
